Crisp Criticism - "Entourage", "Aloha", "Aloft"

by
Julien Faddoul

Entourage

An elongated episode of the TV Series Entourage.
Abysmal waste of time and money; as with the television series, the basic concept of trashing insider Hollywood with male immaturity is no longer fresh or barely even funny.

Aloha

A celebrated military contractor returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the Air Force watchdog assigned to him.
Another hollow sentimental lurch form this hacky writer/director, whose understanding of basic human behavior has become alien.
